Program for January 17

The Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California will be joining the SCW for the January 17 lunch to talk about the programs available and how SCW has helped families of children with hearing loss. Staff from the Hearing and Speech Center will talk about hearing loss and how their clinical, social and educational services help people of all ages and income levels have freedom and independence in their lives. They will discuss FACES, the family support program that has received SCW support over the last few years, then share some great resources that might be helpful to SCW members or their families.

Presenting will be Leslie Castellanos, Development Director, and Shannon Simonson, Director of Counseling and Outreach. Leslie has been managing fundraising and communications at the Hearing and Speech Center for over six years. Shannon works with families, adults and seniors. She has over 10 years of experience working with the hearing loss community and has a hearing loss herself.
